I find some of these stats hard to believe. I hope they’re not true, because if they are, we are in big trouble. Probably beyond what we can fix.

Reblog if you’re gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, ASEXUAL,transgender or a supporter.

tin-fist:

maxvoluntarist:

This should be reblogged by everyone. Even if you’re straight, you should be a supporter.

Lololol “asexual”

Humans are evolving guys.

People are idiots. They will make up anything just to be different.

Shhhhh. Agree and you get a cookie.

I don’t get it. Is there something about being conservative that makes us unable to acknowledge that some people are asexual? How are they hurting anyone?

Less sex = fewer STDs, fewer unwanted pregnancies, fewer abortions, and probably a lot less heartache. Why be a jerk about that?

I’m going to laugh so hard if*/when Scott Walker cleans up in this recall election. The man has done what he was elected to do, and now people are mad about it?

Stupid entitled idiots.

*Voter fraud is real, y’all.

While We’re At It…

The rambling screed in response to my last post is a typical liberal argument for several reasons:

  • It’s whiny.
  • It’s entitled.
  • It demands fairness while resting on a completely unfair premise.
  • It is first in the discussion to play the race card.
  • It misses the point.

The writer complains that people in “Latin America” (again, silly term) have bad lives and are poor. Well, for many of them that may be true. For others, it’s not at all. Many people in Central and South America have wonderful lives at all levels of income. I know some of them. They’re not all illiterate and barefoot south of the Rio Grande, despite the convenience of such a narrative.

As for those who are poor, diseased, and suffering: that is truly sad. No one in their right mind is happy about this plight.

However, I have never heard a compelling argument for why this is America’s problem as a whole, or why we are obligated to tolerate illegal aliens (criminals) in our society and economy as a remedy. The American government has an immigration process that people are welcome to follow. If they cannot do so, well, sorry. I wouldn’t make the cut to emigrate to New Zealand even though I’m educated, disease free, and have no criminal background. Their country, their rules.

The United States is a sovereign nation, and well within its rights to defend its borders and protect its legal populace. This is true of all nations, yet America seems to be the only one that is criticized for doing so. (Check out how Mexico treats Guatemalans and Hondurans who enter the country illegally.)

Additionally, the United States contributes foreign aid in an official capacity, and its citizens give donations and participate in relief work when and where they see fit. This is human kindness and generosity. We are not required to do so, but many of us do anyway.

None of this makes a compelling case for tolerating illegal immigrants. In fact, nothing on earth could make a case for it because it is wrong. It’s illegal, and for good reason. “Undocumented” intruders are bad for the economy, bad for society, and bad for national security. Legal immigrants often, but not always, enrich the country. At this point, the US population does not need to grow to sustain our economy. Any immigration we allow is for the benefit of the immigrants, not the nation.

So many leftists in the West believe that it is wrong to judge anyone, at any time, for any action or belief. They hold fast to this notion and defend it at all costs, EXCEPT in the case of conservatives, Christians, and anyone else who is not an avowed leftist. This “tolerance” is anything but. Thus, they feel perfectly justified to defend the criminal intruder on our soil, while hurling insults and shouting over people like me, though we present our arguments calmly and thoughtfully, and break no laws.

I’d like to think this situation speaks for itself, but the number of emotion-driven hate responses I’ve received indicates otherwise.

Your Race Card is Showing

"Illegal immigrants are just hard-working people who want a better life."

This argument is stupid and insulting.

I, too, am a hard-working person who just wants a better life. The difference is: I don’t break federal laws to do it. I don’t trample the sovereignty of any nations in my quest for middle-class status, and I certainly don’t expect sympathy or scholarships based on my criminal status.

Obviously, America is the best place to live. Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate everyone. There is a process in place for people to come here if they so desire. If they are not able to comply with that process, well, sorry. There’s a process in place for me to get into Harvard Law, too, but I accept that I probably wouldn’t make the cut. We don’t all get the best life we can possibly imagine.

Just admit you want a flood of illegal Democrat votes and be done with it. No other argument holds water.

Oh, shut your holier-than-thou face. You are not some sort of superior being because you mother’s vagina came from a long line of vaginas that happened to be geographically placed within the imaginary borders that are the United States. Your “legality” in this country is simply because of luck, nothing else. Quit acting as if you are more deserving of the right to live because of that luck.

This country has made a fortune raping the resources and exploiting the people of Latin America. And soon after this countries picked all the Chiquita Bananas it could pick it replaced all the deforested land with the American maquiladora. With treaties like NAFTA, American corporations reaped the benefits of the exploitation of women and children. Yet, I see no American citizen that is outraged about immigration complain about the wrong-doing that this country has done to Latin-America (or that world for that matter).

The job market in Latin America does not exist. You cannot support entire families with the little money American corporations pay their employees. THAT is why people migrate to the US because they need to work shitty jobs and put up with racists like you in order to survive.

get off your high horse kid.

I never mentioned race or “Latin America,” aka Central America, South America, the Caribbean, etc. (As a scholar of the actual language of Latin, whose linguistic descendants speak French, Italian, Portuguese, and Romanian in addition to Spanish, I always thought this term was silly.) You’re the one who brought those up. My post is about illegal immigrants, who, by definition, may be from any country other than the United States.

This is such a typical liberal race card move that it’s kind of funny. But also sad because it shows who the racist is.

Of course I’m lucky to live in America. I thank God constantly for this blessing. However, God doesn’t give us all the same blessings. Not everybody gets to live here, and cheating isn’t right or fair. Also, America may be the best place to live, but it’s not like every other country on earth is a hell-hole. There are plenty of lovely places to be proud of and enjoy, all over the globe.

Bringing my mother’s anatomy into the argument is crude and unhelpful.

Again, typical liberal move.

Ted Cruz Forces Runoff in TX Senate Race

This is exciting. When I voted in the Texas primary, I was mostly excited about casting a vote for Cruz. I’ll be happy to brave the inevitable 112° heat on July 31 to do it again.

Dewhurst is not the worst possible choice, but Cruz is much better. Also, I’m happy to see Craig James soundly defeated and sent packing. Maybe now he’ll get the message that Texans don’t take kindly to twerps who bring down beloved college football programs because they are just whiny losers.

Talk Straight: Tolerance: Kill your daughter for being too Western

truthprevails4ever:

When tolerance involves killing your own daughter…

Via MSNBC:

A young woman has told a court in England that as a child she witnessed her 17-year-old sister being murdered by their parents after a months-long quarrel about the teen’s Westernized lifestyle.

If they don’t want to be Westernized, why the hell do they move to Western countries?

Maybe for the functional economy, running water, and reliable electricity?

Does it ever occur to them that those things are a product of Westernization? If you want to keep your backwards religio-political moon-god cult, fine, just do it on your own turf. Here in the West, we try not to murder our daughters quite so often.

"i don’t understand why some people who claim they are feminists are judgmental against strong women who follow some “girly” stereotypes.. :("

 @weighteddown

I hope this is a general comment, and that you didn’t get that impression from my post. My whole point is that women are individuals, and don’t have to fit stereotypes if they don’t want to. But if they do, it doesn’t bother me one bit!

I certainly have a girly side — I love pink, chantilly lace, kittens, cupcakes, and romantic comedies — but I feel free to reject other traditionally “feminine” things if I honestly don’t like them. I also love classic sports cars, modern architecture, college football, Frat Pack movies, the Rolling Stones, and other “guy” stuff, too. Like most people, I’m all over the place!
